Can I choose a different 2FA device for Duo Unix if I have autopush enabled?
ANSWER
No. If autopush is enabled for Duo Unix, then you cannot choose a different 2FA device during an authentication. You must first disable it before you can choose a different device.
Without autopush enabled, Duo Unix will prompt the user to input the numerical value corresponding to the 2FA device they would like to use. For instance, if a user has both a mobile phone with Duo Mobile activated and a landline phone, they would see the following:
~ $ ssh company.com
Last login: Tue Mar 15 16:03:24 EDT 2019
Duo login for joesmith
1. Duo Push to XXX-XXX-2275
2. Phone Call to XXX-XXX-2275
3. Phone Call to XXX-XXX-4576
4. SMS passcodes to XXX-XXX-2275
Passcode or option (1-4):
